Review: Revlon Bedroom Eyes, No.665 Plum Wicked

I have been using this product for the last two days and I have to say I love it! Its totally something that I would use just on a normal day or when I am in a hurry and no time to do much makeup but want my eyes to stand out a little. I love the colour and its so easy to apply. Here are the results...

Pros: The product is easy to apply with a great colour of plumy purple and a little sparkle. Lasts all day (over UDPP). Inexpensive and one tiny bottle can last ages are only need tiny amount of product.
Cons: There would be fall outs if you don't tap the little applicator before applying. Only two colours available.

Revlon Bedroom Eyes

I saw this product at Watsons today while wondering around the shopping centre and loved the colour when I did a swatch on the back of my hand so I had to have it. It was one of the new products from Revlon called Bedroom Eyes in the no.665 Plum Wicked. It also came in another colour called Smokin (I think that's what its called or Smokey) which is a matt brown colour. The colour I have is dark purple with a little glitter. It claims to be a powder liner. I plan to glide this along the top lash line and then add my usual black liquid liner on the bottom. It will be something to add a little colour to my eyes when I am too lazy to do eye shadow that day.

Bargain Of The Day

Today I went out to my local shopping centre and popped into SaSa to get some nail polish remover. During my trip there I came across these great deals. These box sets contains 7 sheets of mask from Olay and they were only $68!!! The bargain was difficult to go by so I brought the last two boxes they had there. Inside the box there are 5 sheets of aquaction nourishing hydration mask and 2 white radiance salon treatment mask. As long as I remember I saw the hydration and salon treatment mask from Mannings for around $99-110 each box of 5 sheets. I also brought this Garnier Lightening Peel-Off Mask for $9.9 for 2 applications, which in Mannings I think cost just under $20 ($15?).

Revlon ColorStay Foundation

I have been using this Revlon ColorStay Foundation for around 2 months now (?!?) and I have to say I am really happy with it. I used to use Laneige Snow Crystal Foundation and had been using that one for around a year, it's really good but I wanted something with more of a coverage and also Revlon ColorStay do wide selection of colours for people with combination/oily skin so I thought I'll give it a try.

Review: I have to say I am really impressed. The coverage is great and no matter how hot the weather is it doesn't melt like other foundations do. I have to say since using this foundation I rarely have to touch up during the day and get a lot less oil on my T-zone, so I highly highly recommend it to those like me who have combination/oily skin.

The price was average for a drug store makeup brand.

Where can I buy it?
As long as I know in UK its available from Boots and Superdrug, other countries such as US etc I guess would be the same too. As in Asian country like Hong Kong, I'm not 100% sure if the available foundation at Watsons and SaSa is the same one. I realise the one they did at Watsons didn't say what type of skin type its for, it has a pump (the ones from UK don't have pump) and the colours to chose from are not as wide range as the ones in UK (think there was only 3 colours at Watsons.

Missha DSW Aqua Sheet Mask

Sometimes I just hate shopping in HK. The sales are so persuasive. I went to Missha the on Wednesday wanting just to get my favourite liquid eye liner cause my other one was drying out but after just picking up two of the eye liners (you will see why I needed to pick up two soon) I was determined to just buy the two and leave the store but the sales girl keeps on introducing products to me saying this is good and that is good etc etc...I keep saying no to her and that I was in a hurry I had to get what I wanted and leave but she didn't seem to want to give up! So the final thing she tried to sell to me were these Deep Sea Water (dsw) masks, she said my face was a little dry etc etc and keep on counting and stamping on my bad points about my skin, couldn't believe what they would do to sell something! I finally gave in but not for her selling points but as you all know that I just got back from UK my skin needs something to refresh and helping it get use to the HK weather again so that's why I agreed to buy them. They were $260 (HK dollars) for 10 sheets. Yes they were a little expensive for the brand they are. I went to Mannings today (HK drugstore) and saw that Garnier the light collection have actually masks too and was $99 (I'm so sure that's the price) for 5 sheets, from my experience with the light collection from Garnier their products are amazing so I will give them a try after I have finished with these rather expensive Korean high street brand masks.

Review: After trying the first sheet tonight the conclusion is that after 30 mins my face did feel refreshing and smooth, so although they were a little expensive I can say they do work. But I definately wouldn't be using them every night for 2 weeks like the sales suggest because if I do surely my wallet would be drying up faster than the HK weather dries my skin!!!
